Atom feed generates too long <atom:id>s?

Not sure if anyone reads these, but anyway: Atom feeds appear to get <id> tags that do not validate. I have no idea why, because at least based on a cursory glance, <id> has no maximum length specified in the RFC; this could also be a problem at feedvalidator.org rather than Hobix.
Currently, they're apparent in these feeds...

...and the exact error it spits out is "label too long (maybe a high-bit character?)".
